Open Source Summit/Embedded Linux Conference Europe

On Tuesday, October 29 at 17:10 – 17:45, Jiri Aichler from Broadcom will lead a session titled, “Open Source Meets Mainframe – Zowe, Security, and Open Infrastructure”, where Jiri will discuss Zowe’s remarkable growth as an open source framework developed for the mainframe, as well as diving deeper into Zowe’s security roadmap and the open infrastructure which supports the Zowe community from source to solution. On Wednesday, October 30 at 2:25 – 3:50, John Mertic, will lead a session titled, “Panel Discussion: Open Mainframe Project: Training the Next Gen Mainframers.” This year, Open Mainframe Project recruited 9 interns to work on six projects including compliance engine, dockerHub development stacks, BoringSSL, Kubernates on Z and Zowe, Open Mainframe Project’s framework that strengthens integration with modern enterprise applications.
